This poster was printed in 1994. The person on the poster is Deng Xiao Ping, the Communist leader who led China to economic reform. Deng was a very talented person. Mao tried to beat him down three times because Mao though Deng was a hidden capitalist but Deng's humble personality saved his life. Deng overthrew Mao's successor's regime in 1979. He died in 1996, just before China reclaimed Hong Kong.
